Professional Development Framework

Entry criteria:

A masters degree can be earned prior to or as part of a doctoral degree.

Exit requirements:

Completion of university coursework as designated for program: typically the equivalent of three years full-time study beyond a masters degree. A minimum grade point average of 3.0 is usually required for course work. A major research project must be completed and written for the doctoral dissertation. The research and dissertation must be approved by the student’s graduate committee.

Positions in the Early Childhood at this level:

College and University faculty, other ECE leadership roles and any of the positions listed in Levels I-VII.
