Alaska's Regional Childcare Resource and Referral Agencies
There are three regional resource and referral agencies available
to provide assistance to parents seeking childcare and to childcare
providers.
South Central Region:
Child Care Connection
Resource and Referral Service
Our Mission - To ensure the advancement of quality child development
and early education in South Central Alaska.
Southeast Region:
Association for
the Education of Young Children-Southeast Alaska
Members of AEYC-SEA have been actively promoting excellence in early
childhood education in Southeast Alaska for over twenty years. AEYC-SEA
offers support and resources to families and programs caring for
young children, and information to businesses and communities.
Northern Region:
CARES: Children's
Advocates, Resources, and Educational Services
Training and resources are available to child care providers, parents,
students, educators and others working with young children throughout
the Northern andInterior regions of Alaska.
Service area includes Fairbanks, North Pole, Salcha, Delta, Healy, Nome,
Kotzebue, Barrow, Point Hope and other communities.
